Where your child can get a COVID vaccine in North Florida

Children 5 to 11 can now receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine after the CDC director signed off on the recommendation. The Jacksonville COVID Task Force is holding a Day of Honor and Appreciation for the city’s Veterans and COVID Heroes. Health experts will also offer COVID-19 shots for those eligible.

Remembrance, Hope, and Unity Day will honor COVID-19 victims at James P. Small Park in Jacksonville

“Many seats are vacant at tables around this community because of the pandemic so we want to bring the community together not just for remembrance but for hope,” Lee Harris, Pastor of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church, said.
